Very Disappointing Stay – Not Acceptable for a $1,000/Night Resort
Dear Management,
I am writing to express my serious disappointment with our recent stay at your resort. When booking online, I specifically selected and triple-checked that our room would have two queen beds, as we are traveling with two very young children, including a 4-month-old baby. Upon arrival, however, we were given one king bed and a sofa bed instead. Because of the baby, I had to sleep on the sofa with my other child to avoid the risk of rolling onto the infant during the night. This is not a situation any parent should face, especially at a resort charging close to $1,000 per night.
The experience became even more frustrating on our third night around 10 PM. We asked reception where we could get drinking water and were told that water was only available for VIP guests. The manager repeated the same explanation and directed us to the floor vending machines. Unfortunately, the machine on our floor had no water, only soda, and the machines on the floor above and below were out of service.
For a resort at this price level, basic necessities like drinking water should never be restricted or unavailable, especially for families with small children.
I hope management reviews this situation and provides an explanation for such poor service.
