The hotel is in a very nice and safe area with several dining and shopping options nearby. It's a bit of a drive downtown and to Graceland, but we were aware of that when we made the booking. Breakfast was hot and good, and they kept everything stocked. Canadian bacon seemed to be an odd choice as the only meat option, but it was very good (and I'm usually not a huge fan of Canadian bacon).
Service was both friendly and efficient. We were there only one night, so I can't comment on the housekeeping service except to say that the room was clean and had plenty of towels. The shower was hot and had strong pressure, but the curtain rod had too much of a curve, so the curtain pulled away from both ends of the tub/shower opening, which got the bathroom floor wet. The couch sagged a bit in the middle, but it was nice to have enough seating for 4 people. There was a separate sink next to the coffee maker and fridge, which was convenient.
The beds seem to have been full-size instead of queen, and they were quite close to each other. However, there was enough room for 2 people to sleep comfortably. The only real negative was that the room had only one outlet near the beds, which was hard to reach because it was under the wall-mounted nightstand. As someone who uses a C-PAP, outlets near the bed are a necessity.
I've never had a bad stay at a Hyatt Place, and this stay was no exception. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone visiting Memphis.
