My stay at this hotel was okay, and only okay. For the price I paid, I honestly would have expected a lot more. I arrived late, and was put in a room I can only assume was one of the least nice rooms the hotel has to offer. It was a ‘standard two person room’
but it felt more like a broom closed than the ‘standard two person room’ I paid for. It had a window facing in towards the hotel elevators, so it had to be covered at all time, making it only a small step up from not having a window at all. Furthermore, the room was very small, so small that the furniture placed in the room had been stashed together impeding movement, while the bed was oriented sideways as if it was a hostel. Once again, not reflecting the price I paid.
During breakfast I struggled to find a clean table (at 07:30am), as most tables were either taken or had several dirty dishes placed on them, not collected. Once I was finally eating, I bit into a pancake that was absolutely not finished cooking, which was a bit of an unpleasant experience.
The food that actually was finished cooking, was good. The staff were also generally friendly.
All in all, whenever I return to Stockholm, I will either pay a lot less to stay somewhere ‘less fancy’ (but probably equally nice, if we are being honest), or I will make sure to stay somewhere equally expensive but nicer. This stay just wasn’t worth my money.
