Absolutely disgusting.
Bottle of water left frozen in fridge, bar of soap opened and broken in half, stains/spots on towels, all of which was missed by housekeeping prior to my check-in. The clerk on duty seemed to find this funny, but did replace the soap & towels (she made ME throw the frozen bottle away, refusing to touch it). She offered a room change, but when I asked if the other rooms were any better, she laughed again and shrugged, suggesting this was the standard for the hotel.
Upon returning from dinner, I also noticed the bathroom sink was broken (the cold water produced NO water and the “hot” water never got warm). When I tried the bath water, I noticed how filthy the tub was (peeling, with black mold inside & out, and what appeared to be dried blood in the corner). There were also stains/spots on the blanket, and the only chair in the room was broken (if you sat on it, you might tip or fall).
I returned to the desk; she still seemed to think this was funny, offered again to switch to a different (but also filthy) room and said someone would come check my room in an hour. The hour came & went with no staff arrival. The clerk laughed again and told me “maybe after midnight.”
There was also a LOT of noisy p********ion activity outside the rooms & in the parking lot. I reported to the local non-emergency line, but the sheriff said they were “aware” of the p********ion AND d***-dealing at that location, but couldn’t do much.
