The hotel lies conveniently within walking distance to Kralendijk. The resort is a bit tired down, but the standard is absolutely ok if you just want a place to sleep on a busy vacation. The dive shop, and all the dive instructors were great. What really disappointed us, was the general service level at the hotel. There were garbage (empty beer bottles, napkins and plastic) on the little beach area, that no one in the staff bothered to clean up, even though several guests made remarks about it. If you asked for salsa, it took 15-20 min before it turned up, and you had already finished your meal. The management approached their guests in a surprisingly hostile and agressive way, when it came to answering simple questions. But the most shocking experience were probably when overhearing the management slander about their guests with other staff members, laughing and making fun of them. They do probably not know that sound from the restaurants travels very easy down to the little beach area. Bonaire is a truly friendly place, which made us even more disappointed about this hotel. We will not be staying here at our next visit to Bonaire.
