Served our purpose perfectly
We stayed two nights on our way from New York to western North Dacota. The hotel was fairly recently renovated, and served our purpose very well: Reasonable price, ok room with a small balcony, pool and ok breakfast. Only minus was that on arrival we asked for (and was promised) an extra bed in our room, but in the end we had to go and get it ourselves around 11 PM. We spent one day at the Mall of America, and the drive to get there was approximately 20 minutes. The same for the international airport. A nice park is almost next door, and we went for a nice 6-7 km (4 mi) walk around a nearby lake. However, no information about this park was given by the hotel staff even when we asked for things to do in the neighbourhood. Only a few restaurants within walking distance, and the one we tried at a nearby bowling centre is just a plan B solution - I would try to find something better the next time around.
