We arrived in the evening, and it was very cold outside. The reception had a sign that said "open". But none was there, and it was closed. We rang the bell many times, knocked on windows and doors, none came. We were cold. We had to call them, and we woke them up I think. We weren't expected, and the managers lived in a house somewhere else than in the hotel. A lady came, and had problems finding our reservations, but when she looked in the right place, she found them. We got our rooms, and internet code. We had paid a bit more for our room, and therefore got a room in a nicer part, but no internet could reach over there. Not clean rooms, very dusty, and hairs in the shower. Towels were way too small, like towels for hands. But all in all, it looks very charming and are really a motel in the pines. so we kind of liked it.
