This resort has it all! It is one of the biggest resorts in Dubai, and it is truly a unique place. The service was fantastic as expected on a 5 star resort.
The resort obviously has its private beach which was one of the best I have ever been to. So clean and the sand was wonderful, the sea was crystal clear and beautiful.
The resort consists of three hotel parts and a souk, or private shopping centre if you will. They are building a fourth hotel part now which will be finished in 2016 I think. It was a bit noise from the building site during daytime, but not too annoying.
There are boats and buggies that can take you round to the different parts of the resort. Romantic with the boats <3
The resort is right next to Burj al Arab, so you have fantastic view of the remarkable hotel from the beach and several of the restaurants.
We had Friday Brunch, and I will really recommend it for the experience. Lots of people having a nice time in the restaurants with all you can eat buffees with or without alcohol. Price is steep, but it was great food and drinks and a great afternoon.
Backdraw with the hotel is that everything is super expensive, so we went out of the hotel for several dinners and did not have lunch or breakfast in the restaurants. We went to the souk for breakfast where we could get a smoothie and sandwiches. Was also Starbucks and Costa Coffee, so we chose other options.
