This is a very nice hotel considering the relatively low price. The room was quite small, but had a large, nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The interior was a bit worn and not impressive, but there were no serious flaws.
Service was nice. It's possible to access internet from a PC in the reception area.
The hotel is in long walking distance from most of the attractions in Firenze, but the local bus will get you there in a few minutes- there is a bus stop close by the hotel.
The hotel is overall a good choice if you want to save a bit, but it's better to go for the rate without breakfast if possible.
The breakfast buffet was a huge disappoinment: breads and croissants were dry and old, and there were no fresh fruits or meats. Yoghurt and a very simple musli were the only eatable things on the buffet. Not worth getting up for.
We found a "forno" just down the street which had lovely, freshly baked bread and pizza pieces with many different toppings - we had our breakfasts there. In the same street is also Perseus restaurant - a wonderful, rustic style Italian restaurant with amazing steaks. A must for meat-lovers. Try the Firenze specialty Fiorentina (it's enough for two people, seriously)
