Great Family Spot
This is a low key five star and that’s the way we like it. The staff was attentive and friendly but not fussy. It felt very private. I’d give the staff experience an A/A+.
The location was further from where we usually stay but we learned to appreciate the benefits of Manhattan West. You just have to embrace it.
The hotel itself is very well designed and brand new. We stayed in both the studio suite and one bedroom suite. The one bedroom is a substantial upgrade and worth giving heavy consideration depending on the price difference if going with kids.
The breakfast is white table cloth menu-only. This is different from the typical club spread which would have been welcome pre-kids, but with kids I’d suggest skipping it. Room service was exceptionally good quality.
Most importantly, the black fox coffee can be accessed from the lobby without going outside and is excellent. It’s across from a Whole Foods which is super convenient and Daily Provisions is very convenient.
