Mary at the front desk this morning thanked me for staying with them. She noticed my Martha Jefferson (local hospital) sticker, said she hoped for a positive health outcome, and said if I needed to stay another night in Charlottesville that she would ensure I had a suitable room -- even if she "needed to move some folks around"!
Room was clean, quiet, good quality towels and the window shade COMPLETELY blocked the morning sun, so no intrusive sunbeams to wake you before you're ready!
Breakfast area has lots of seating, ranging from tables for 2-10 people (great for small or large groups without sharing) and bar-type seating facing the windows for non-morning (or unsociable) people. Everything was clean, with a wide variety of hot and cold food and beverages. BONUS: not one, but TWO kinds of gluten-free breakfast muffins!
