We spent our honeymoon at Veligandu. We stayed there for 6 nights, 3 at a superior jacuzzi beach villa and 3 nights at a water villa. We personally liked the beach villa better because of the beach and the palms surrounding the villa, which made it even more cosy, but the water villa was nice to experience. Everything was perfect, the island, the staff, who were always available, very helpful and genuinely interested in who we were and where we come from. The island has also very nice house reef but we would definitely recommend either taking a snorkeling trip or the jet skiing adventure, which we really thought was amazing! Both the excitement of driving jet in the open sea and snorkeling private not with a whole group. We also did the dolphin sunset cruise experience and the full moon dinner on the beach, both of which were magical. We had the fullboard, which fitted us very well, the difference is 56 dollars per person per day, if you drink a lot of coctails during the day it can be smart to upgrade to all inclusive, but if you are like us who take a couple of glasses of wine for dinner you should choose the fullboard. We decided to spend the difference on experiences and we are really happy for that.
