All in all, it was a good choice quality and pricewise. The hotel looked well-kept, with an old-fashioned lavish style in the lobby, and a beautiful view from the front garden. The garden area was charming, with a pretty large pool, sunbeds and towels. The room was spacious and clean, with decent retro style furnishings and air condition. However, it had only a small window just below the ceiling, so there was no view whatsoever and almost no daylight at all. There were mosquitoes in the room. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well, with all the modern amenities. There was no bathtub though, and the shower corner was small, with just a simple curtain round it, which was inconvenient and spoiled the impression. There was no complimentary tea/coffee in the room. The free wi-fi was almost not available in the room and even in the lobby it was irritatingly unstable.
The staff was all in all friendly and helpful. They spoke English well and appeared professional at all times. The breakfast serving time was till 10:30. It was possible to sit outside at the pool. The breakfast was sufficient, with fresh produce and enough choices. The dishes were refilled till the closing hour, so that there was enough food available for late risers. They made good coffee by order.
The location was convenient. It took some 10 minutes by foot to the bus station and some 15 minutes by foot to the main square. At the same time it was secluded in a quiet place away from the tourist crowds.
