It is fantastically located if you're looking to be in the old city center, and the staff is very pleasant and helpful.
However, the directions they provided to arrive at the hotel and park were just not good. They recommended an specific parking that is close to the hotel but they did not disclose that the metro roadworks would make it very difficult to arrive to that parking, that it was more expensive than alternatives and that street parking in Victoria street is absolutely possible, which made me throw away 60 euros in parking fees when I could have parked 10m away from the hotel.
The hotel is 2 hotels in one, so the entrance was extremely unclear as well, with no indication whatsoever. Seems that they struggle with communication before arriving.
The gardens are very nice and relaxing in the middle of Porto, which was a really nice touch, but the pool was closed without notice beforehand.
The room was clean and spacious but unfortunately the furniture was cheap and run down. Not at all what I was expecting. The bed was extremely hard as well, didn't feel nice at all.
Finally, I booked a suite, which for them seems to mean "large room", the room I was placed in was definitely not a suite by any standards.
