We really appreciated staff changing our room from 214 - where there was a constant smell of sewers - to 530, higher up. We also appreciate all staff at reception desk who were very polite and did everything to help us with everything we needed. We are very unhappy with the cleaning staff who regularly (?!!) forgot to take dirty cups and regularly (?!!?) forgot to replace with clean cups. This had meant we had to keep asking reception desk for these missing items because the cleaning staff were not competent and trained well enough to do their job properly، particularly when the same mistake happens more than once. There has to be a supervisor running regular checks to avoid this but such inconveniences are important enough for customers not to return to the same hotel ! The cleaning staff also didn't vacuum the room, everyday we were coming back to dust and hair in all corners. The floor were mopped but that was causing all the dust and hair to pile up and stick to surfaces. Why is it so hard to vacuum before mopping up the floors. We liked the TV size, newness and modern furniture , the restaurant was very clean, the air con/ heating system worked both ways which was efficient. The mattress in room 214 is out of shape and uncomfortably soft, it gave us real backache and we're young and fit ! Can't imagine what sort of back pain it will cause for older clients. Good selection of pillows !
