Stayed in Port 9 hotel for 6 nights. Room was newly refurbished, however it was a small room for 2 adults and 2 children. Sofa bed was only made up for 1 child and towels only for 2 persons in the bathroom, but this was sorted out by the staff. Dinner on our first day was ok, but it was very difficult to order drinks for the meal. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed, and waiting time was too long. We ended up cancelling dinner for the next 5 evenings, and went to Korcula town for dinner instead.
Breakfast was ok and so was the variety of food. However, when breakfast ended at 10am, everything was closed down immediately (coffee machine, drinks, pancake machine, etc.) which seemed strange for a 4 star hotel. Restaurant management should be a little bit more flexible. Our 2 kids had been standing in line for 10 min for pancakes, and when they finally reached the machine, it was closed down right in front of them. Sad!!! Pool area was nice and clean, but too few sun beads for guests. When pool opened at 9am, people were rushing in to get a free sun bed.
Hotel offered free mini golf. This was a sad experience! The area needs a serious upgrade. Garbage was laying everywhere and cans and sharp objects caused a safety hazard for our kids. We took some pictures and reported to management, but no actions taken!?! Nice shop right across the street was very handy for grocery shopping. Reception struggling with IT system, tried to charge double amount when checking out...
