Worst hotel I've ever stayed in after traveling to over 20 countries. Shameful service. I booked the balcony room on Expedia and the photos all showed the water from the room. This is the reason why I booked the hotel in the first place. When I arrived, I was given a key for the 1st floor and was very confused because the view could not be like what's shown in Expedia from ground level. I ended up being right and the view was of the inner courtyard. So I basically paid extra and wasted money for no reason. With that said, DO NOT SPEND EXTRA ON THE "balcony". On top of that, I left a "room in use" sign on my door and the maid still opened it while I was In the room. I went to reception and complained about this and was gaslighted and told that I had the sign on the "Enter" side, which is completely false, I would never do this. The person at reception was very rude about it and kept insisting that I was in the wrong. Next, I closed the sliding door to my bathroom one night and the door just locked by itself, so I had to call reception to unlock the door. Thank god I was not on the inside, otherwise, I would have been stuck in. Lastly, when I checked out and tried to pay the city tax, the woman at the front desk told me that I can only pay in cash and this was explained to me at check in and written on the reservation. IT WAS NOT EXPLAINED TO ME AT CHECK IN AND IT WAS NOT WRITTEN IN THE RESERVATION. So I had to go take out cash at an ATM for this.
