Very nice hotel for a skiing holiday in Kitzbühel. Close to the railway station and within walking distance to the town center and the skiing facilities. The rooms were tidy and clean and the beds were very good. However, there is perhaps too little space in the rooms for all the clothes and equipment needed for a skiing holiday for two persons. We traveled with two suitcases, but had trouble with finding adequate space to place the suitcases. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and the bar in the reception area. Excellent breakfast buffet. Our only disappointment is related to the service in the restaurant, where we did not feel welcome when asking for a table on the second day of our visit. We arrived on Sunday afternoon, and enjoyed the dinner in the evening. When asking for a table on Monday evening we were told that they did not serve guests that had not made a reservation in advance. As the restaurant was less than half-full we asked politely for a table, but this was promptly refused without any other explanation that they only served guests that had made a reservation in advance. We were not given any information on how, where and when such a reservation could be made, and there were no information given in the material received on arrival or in the rooms describing this rule. This made us feel not very welcome, and we decided to have dinner for the next four evenings in the town center restaurants. Is this the proper way to treat hotel guests?
