I booked two rooms, non of the rooms were ready (An hours wait for each room) The front office staff informed me that previous guests were late checking out. I was informed the would give us an upgrade, this was not done. There were multiple guests who had to wait, as their rooms were also not ready.
Weak management not ensuring guests check out on time, led to other guests having to wait
At breakfast I had to ask for plates, napkins and for the buffet to be refilled (Most of the food was finished) There was no butter, no rice, no noodles, what was there was cold. I initially thought I was late for breakfast, this was 09:15, breakfast finished at 10:30.
We checked in for breakfast at the cashier desk, one room came with breakfast (Pre booked) and the second room would pay for breakfast. This was no issue until, another member of staff chased us around the buffet with the book, asking us what room, we need to pay despite already doing this, I was embarrassed.
Whilst eating breakfast, the same female member of staff who followed us around the buffet started to shout at another member of staff at the back of the restaurant.
I appreciate hotels can be busy and I know things don’t always run smoothly, however too many issues prompted my negative review.
