Relais Paradiso was closed, we had been transferd to another hotel not far from Relais; Hotel Raito. The pictures in hotels.com, must be fram Raito. We were promised a room with a big balcony facing the sea, with our own Jacuzzi in our room. Ended up in a small room with 3 tiny beds, a mini bathroom where you hardly had enough space in the shower. We had a small balcony over the parkinglot, where we barely could see the sea. And it took almost 1,5 hour to get our room ready, since they had not seen that we had ordered for three people. The hotel was very nice, but we felt we were not included in the upperclass-guests. I guess we had got a too good deal from hotels.com. the Breakfast was very good. The traffic to the nearby village was terrible, we spent nearly 1,5 hour to get back to the hotel in the evening, it is a distanse of no more then 5-6 km. Horrible! At least we got to see the Italian cardrivers in action, totally insane driving. We drove the Amalfi coast the next day, but we could not find one single parking spot on the entire distance. We spent almost 1 hour in a line in Amalfi to get to a parking-lot, but had to give it up, our son could not stand the boring waiting. Believed october to be a better month to see and drive the coast, but it was terrible crowded even now.
