Nice and clean hotel. Comfortable bed and great that they have a pillow menu, so you can choose the one you want. The breakfast wasn’t anything special sadly.. we expected more from a 5 star hotel when it comes to the breakfast buffet. The omelet station was great though. The attitude of the young man working as a barista at the buffet was not OK at all. Ordered two café latte with oatmilk. He asked me 3-4 times before making it «oatmilk, right», and I confirmed. And then he started making it with almond milk. When I told him «we are very allergic to almond milk! I ordered with oatmilk» he says «thought you said oat» and then he makes a face and rolls his eyes. When he gave me the coffees he says «here you go, you are very much welcome!» with an attitude. Like he was doing me a huge favour making me this coffee. You pay a lot when staying at a 5 star hotel, so the service and quality throughout all the hotel should be nothing but top quality. I am all for people having a job, but this guy should not be working there if he doesn’t like his job.
I did miss having slippers and bathrobe, we have always had this in our room when staying at a 5 star. The only time we got slippers and bathrobes was when we had spa treatment. The housekeeping was was very nice, greeting you every time. But the lack of service and politeness in the breakfast buffet (not only the barista) makes us question staying and this hotel again, and / or recommending it to others.
