We truly enjoyed our stay here. The apartments are nice although some of the beds could have been softer with less creaking. But all in all we had a fantastic stay. The apartment was just as it said on the website. Two separate bedrooms a living room with a kitchen nook. A bathroom with a washing machine. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen.
Arriving a Saturday afternoon, we got a surprise while walking our dogs Sunday morning. The whole inner court of the complex where teaming with activity. A bustling Sunday market where being set up. Upwards of 70 stalls with all kinds of handicrafts, food, knickknack and music. And the best part was that we could just ride the elevator and step into it all.
The apartments have a kitchen that gave us the opportunity too have breakfast there. The other meals of the day where consumed down in the courtyard ore in the surrounding streets.
In the courtyard you’ll find on coffee shop, one pub, and three restaurants. Just by circling the outer perimeter of the court, you’ll find another 7 restaurants.
The apartments are located some 5 minutes leisurely walking time from Deak square. At Deak square you can get on all the metro lines in Budapest, and some of the tramlines. Ore you can catch the number 16 bus to the castle heights of Buda. All the sightseeing busses also originate from Deak square.
If you cross Deak square in the direction of Danube, another 3-5 minutes walking will bring you to Vörösmarty place, at the end of Vaci street.
Although centrally located we where not kept up at night do to noise. It was no problem bringing our dogs, although this set us back 5 Euros a day per dog.
