The hotel is very beautiful and charming, but unfortunately, the hospitality was quite disappointing. From the check-in experience to the cleanliness of our room, the service did not meet expectations. I mentioned a few issues in the room to the staff upon our arrival, but they made no effort to resolve them.
Housekeeping was also below standard—the room wasn’t cleaned properly, and the linens weren’t changed every two days as stated in their policy. Mornings felt unwelcoming, with staff appearing unhappy and not even offering a simple “hello” or “good morning.”
There’s a strange, tense atmosphere that’s hard to ignore. It’s a pity, because the hotel itself is lovely and the breakfast was delicious. However, the staff all seemed stressed or sad, which took away from the overall experience.
