Pros:
First and foremost, the apartment is secure, with 24-hour security on the ground floor, which makes the building feel safe and well-monitored. Another major advantage is the location; it’s very convenient. A short car ride of just about ten minutes takes you to District 1 in Saigon, and there are grocery stores and fruit stands nearby. These factors definitely contribute positively to the overall experience.
Cons:
However, there are some clear drawbacks as well. I previously stayed at a Landmark 81 apartment, which had the same price point, yet the conditions there were significantly better. Aside from Ha Do Centrosa Garden’s advantage in location, Landmark 81 surpasses it in nearly every other aspect.
To begin with, I noticed small insects crawling on the kitchen table—not ants, but tiny bugs even smaller than that. This was a bit unsettling. Secondly, while the apartment provides a washing machine, there’s no dryer. You’re left to hang your clothes on a drying rack on the balcony, but the setup isn’t ideal. The air conditioning unit’s exhaust fan is positioned directly across from the drying rack, which means dust is blown onto the clothes as they dry.
Additionally, the shower has a disappointing limitation: if you’re hoping for a hot shower, you’ll only get about three minutes of warm water before it turns lukewarm, which can be frustrating.
