Booked a stay here because 4 families needed rooms and they had them available. We usually look for good prices so booked based on the price. I looked at the star rating so felt ok about booking. The day before our trip I actually read the reviews and became nervous to stay.
Those reviews were accurate. Like others said, upon check in the lady at the front desk showed me a list of names and asked me to point to mine to cross it off and handed me a room key without checking ID or reservation. I could have pointed to any name! We found our room and were greeted by a tiny room with broken blinds and the door to the additional bedroom was stuck/broken. Our family member booked the same room and theirs was much larger. It was bare minimum, but had a working tv, towels and beds as described. The room was just not well kept, bent up lamp shade, taped up blinds, holes from where I assume curtains used to be. We’ve stayed at many cozy budget hotels but this was felt very uncomfortable.
