Beautiful and very romantic hotel just outside Firenze city centre.
The staff in the reception and in the bar were very attentive and did their best to ensure that we had a nice stay.
Rooms were spacious and clean. We also got our own private terrace.
The restaurant closes at 22.00 after which it is not possible to order anything else than nuts, olives etc
The breakfast is quite good for italy, but with very few good non-gluten options. No chef on duty to prepare alternatives.
Pool area is close to perfect, with sufficient amounts of sunbeds and huge towels. Could do with a small pool bar ot something for refresments, but I understood that this is work in progress.
The distance to the city centre is not a big problem with the shuffle bus option. However, if you stay later than 1930, you will need a taxi. (roughly €20)
All in all a good hotel which we would recommend for quiet lazy days by the pool side, and evening trips to the city centre.
