Fantastic stay at Hotel Jason!
Excellent hotel with a good location between the Platis Gialos beach and Mykonos town. We could walk to the beach in approx 15 minutes and to town in approx 25 minutes. However there are no sidewalks so be careful, especially during the evening/night. There is a bus every hour connecting the beach and the city. The bus is 1,8€ per person and taxi back to the hotel in the evening is 10€.
Nice and clean room with balcony. Stayed in two different rooms, both great. Comfortable beds and good showers.
Beautiful pool area with a pool bar that served drinks and small snacks (toast, Greek salad, fruit salad etc.). Giorgio who worked in the pool bar was a very service minded and cool guy that took great care of all his guests.
The hotel offered free pool towels.
Traveled during Covid-19 and the hotel took the guidelines seriously. The staff was wearing visor protection, there were hand sanitizers several places in the hotel and they were also cleaning the sunbeds and tables as people were leaving them. Felt really safe!
The best thing about this hotel is the people, especially Maria who is running the place and Giorgio in the pool bar.
Maria made the hotel feel like a home away from home. She was a very sweet and kind woman. She took the time to answer all of our question, was helpful with traveling advice and made us feel safe. We ended up cutting our stay on Santorini just to have a couple more nights at Hotel Jason, stayed eight nights in total.
10/10!!
