The hotel was very centrally located in the old town and had a short distance to the most famous tourist attractions. It is only a few hundred meters to walk to the Grand Bazaar, and three stops by tram to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The cleanliness at the hotel was also excellent. The service was impeccable as well, and all the staff were very friendly and service-minded. We would especially like to highlight Mr. Mehmet Kaya and Mr. Usman, who were always cheerful, helpful, and service-oriented both at the breakfast buffet and in the rooftop restaurant.
The reason the hotel does not receive 5 stars is that we had higher expectations, which unfortunately means we have to deduct a bit. The hotel bed was not as comfortable as we expected, even though it was large enough for three people (two adults and a child). We also requested a baby cot on the first night upon arrival and were told that there was no baby cot available, but that it would be followed up the next day. We never heard anything more about the baby cot. The hotel is somewhat difficult to reach by taxi, and we experienced that several taxi drivers could not find the way.
