In fairness i will begin with the good sides of this hotel. The location is really great, and everyone who works there are very nice and helpful and provide good service.
I honestly can not understand that this hotel has anything but a terrible ration on this site.
When we arrived and opened the door to our very dark room, the smell of old, dusty and dirty textile slapped us in the face. The tv did not work, the fan(!) did not work (how can a fan not work?), the AC could not keep the room at a cool temperature and you need a degree in antique engineering to open a window, and the windows are frosted, so you need to open them to see anything. The bed was hard as a rock. There is no form of sound isolation, so you wake up to a loud bang if someone on the next floor open or close their door. There were extremely few plug sockets, so you have to unplug the (much needed) lights if you want to charge your phone. After about 30 minutes the smell of old dusty and dirty textile was overpowered by a pungent smell of sewage coming out of the shower drain. This smell stayed in the room for the duration of our stay.
How anyone can give this hotel 10/10 is beyond belief, it is like we have stayed in different hotels. Never again.
