We stayed for three nights in a standard room and found the hotel as a whole to be charming and well kept, and the staff very friendly, but the room was small and impractical.
There was really no place to keep two large suitcases in the tiny room, and no chance to unpack into the one closet, so we constantly had to move things around, stacking things on top of each other.
Pretty much everything else was good, including the service both in reception and the cleaning, and we appreciated the Nespresso machine, the excellent air condition and a pleasant bed. Hermés soaps and toiletries was a nice treat as well.
Service was eager, friendly and helpful, but be prepared for everyone in reception rising to greet you and ask you what you're going to do today, and when you get back, how your day was. For us Nordic introverts it was a bit surprising at first, but we got used to it, and it was a good way to get to ask questions we might otherwise not have gotten around to.
All in all an ok stay. The staff was the highlight, but the small size of the room ended up dominating the experience. Given the price, which was fairly high, we conclude that it wasn't worth it.
