8/10 – Veldig bra

Nice, central hotel.
Its a nice hotel. The only drawback was that there wasnt a minibar there, but thats a minor issue. Its got a dispenser by the elevator that sells candy, drinks (nonalcoholic) and various things like razors, toothbrushes, sewing kits...
Whenever there was a problem, they were eager to help you out.
The only drawback is that not everyone speaks english, so for a green guero like me, it was hard to communicate, but nothing a little bit of miming cant fix. This applies to most of the population of Torreon it seems. (I had a local english speaking friend there. Without her as a guide, I think I wouldve struggled alot more.)
There is a mall next to the hotel. Its large, got everything but a grocery store. Cinema, drugstore... whatever else you need. And of course a fastfood court and some restaurants (that provide roomservice delivery if you want to have a steak/pizza delivered to your door)
It also has some restaurants that have all you can eat buffèts for about 140 pesos a head. I recommend the one in the first floor, that connects with the drugstore. That place got good eat, and not all of it is drenched in chili, either.
One thing though, the store alarms seems to mess up your keycard, so be prepared to have to return to the reception a few times to fix it when it wont open your door... but thats hardly the hotels fault.
Its right next to the highway, so buses and taxis are aplenty.
