Good hotel with some snags
We chose this hotel based on reviews and profile on web and hotels.com. We were looking for a nice hotel for our honeymoon and wanted to make sure that we got a nice room. The experience started not too nice with the hotel not answering my emails with some simple questions around transportation and the rooms. When we checked in we were guided first to the wrong room, a small dark standard room. Then to the superiour room we had ordered, but it was not a smoke-free room like we asked for, and the AC hardly worked. We tried another two rooms with the same issues, including fungus on the walls in the bathroom, until we ended up with a nice room on the 7th floor. Breakfast was also a bit limited so we ended up not enjoying that other than the first morning, but the location of the hotel was great towards all you could want to see in Istanbul. Friendly staff as well that always helped us with our issues.
