The hotel is pleasantly close to centre of town, yet easy to arrive to driving your own car. There is unfortunately no underground parking, and the 'secure' parking next to the hotel is not fenced - but, our car stayed safely on the site for the two nights we we staying at the hotel, with no troubles to report.
The shower has a weird design, it is raised 10 cm above the rest of the bathroom floor, a glass wall separates the shower from the toilet - but no curtain or door to the front. Which means that water splashed all over the bathroom floor, and after a longer shower ran over the raised section and onto the floor. This should be looked at, as it shouldn't be impossible to fix some kind of door/curtain.
All the staff members we were in contact with were multilingual, friendly and helpful. Getting an explanation of how to use the local transport system was excellent, it is always tricky to learn how it works in different parts of the world, but thanks to the front office manager's good explanations we were able to board a tram confidently, and pay our way in the super convenient system onboard.
An extra thank you for the brekky - Novotel hotels aren't always as good with their breakfast buffets, but this one was really well stocked, had lots of fresh foods, and well worth its price.
