Fun atmosphere, suitable for young folks.
Wine Hostel is a hostel for younger people, as most of the guests were in their early twenties if I were to guess. There was a lot of noise from the dorm rooms. As a couple in our early thirties, we had our own room with private bath. The room had a french balcony overlooking the park, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious enough. We enjoyed the room, but the couple we travelled with got a much smaller room in the attic with only a small window facing the inner yard. Breakfast was simple selv-service, good enough for us. There was even pancakes one morning. The more experienced staff members were smiling and helpful, the younger staff hardly looked, smiled or talked to us. Check-in and check-out seemed confusing for the staff and not too well organized, and the "front desk" is literally in the stairway.
All in all; good and easy atmosphere, clean and comfortable private room, but more suitable for younger people and backpackers.
