Was it a place to lay my head? Yes. Was it a good stay? No.
As soon as we arrived there was a sign to manually open/close automatic sliding door. We entered and the lobby smelled like a cat litter box, fortunately it was contained to lobby. Our room was dated and had minor damages but enough to notice there was more than a few. Walls were thin, we could hear EVERYTHING. At one point, the power went out. Lastly, someone spilled scrambled eggs in the stairwell we let the receptionist know, the next morning the scrambled eggs were still in the stairwell so I’m not sure how often they are cleaning.
Ultimately, this hotel is now my worst case scenario hotel for Ft. Worth. This sucks, because I normally have good experience staying at La Quinta hotels.
