Severely underwhelming experience at a supposedly.
The service upon arrival was abysmal and could only be described as a joke. The staff appeared completely uninterested and seemed eager to finish their tasks as quickly as possible.
The bellman who carried our bags to the room was tipped $20, yet failed to recognize us just a few hours later.
The first room we were assigned had a gap of 4–5 cm under the door, making it extremely noisy with no soundproofing whatsoever. After requesting a room change—an experience that was equally disappointing from a service standpoint—we were moved to a smaller room that offered slightly better soundproofing.
The doormen, whose primary task was to open the doors for guests, spent most of their time indoors chatting with each other.
The concierge was mostly engaged in private conversations and showed little to no interest in assisting guests.
Speaking with other guests, we found a consensus: at best, this hotel could only be considered a two-star establishment.
The only positive aspect of the stay was the shower, but even that was overshadowed by the freezing cold bathroom tiles.
This is the first time we have seriously considered paying for a new hotel stay after just half a day. We have traveled extensively around the world, and this experience stands out as one of the worst.
If I were the owner of this hotel, I would conduct a thorough review of the apparent cultural issues within the staff. This level of service is entirely unacceptable.
