This is a review no one ever wants to hear but this is the truth. If you are going to sleep here, make sure you go on the actual Wingate Hotel website and read all their policies. Dont go off of Expedia room amenities. The reasoning is, I DID NOT GET TO SLEEP HERE. At the hotel checking in, they tell me, there will be a pet fee of $50 per pet, per night. I was fine with that. And then the next thing was, a pet weight limit of 40 lbs and under. One of my dogs was well over 40 lbs. I contacted expedia trying to get a refund cause of all of this. They told me, to get the refund, its up to the Hotel. While i was there, at the front desk. I am watching the front desk person named Anna, which supposedly is manager and 2 other people NOT pick up the phone to talk to Expedia. Expedia then messege me telling them to pick up the phone. I watched them not pick up the phone and watched them walking to the back acting as they didnt hear the phone. I then told them to pick up the phone and asked them why didnt they pick up the phone. She told me and lied to my face saying they picked up the phone. While that was happening, Expedia said to me that there was nothing they can do unless if the hotel agrees to refund. It was so sketchy that the front desk people kept going back and forth. In and out at the front desk to the back of the room behind the front desk. I then left and last min booked at the Motel 6.
