Upon arriving at my room in Jabal Marriot., I was greeted with a repulsive stench of the bathroom gutter emanating into the rest of the room and the flooding of the bathroom floor after showering. The conditions in the bathroom were deplorable!
I made the payment for my room in full and I should have been entitled to a room change at the very least after a 7 - hour ordeal of wasting my time and energy going back and forth between contacting reception and monitoring the futile repair attempts. I became frustrated like anyone in my situation would be.
Sleep deprived and jet-lagged from being on a 14 - hour flight, I finally descended to the reception floor to request a room change.
I expressed my concerns to the receptionist who relayed this info to Eyaad, the supervisor. Eyad said there are no room available.
When I returned to my room, the technicician said it will take another day to resolve the issue,
This crossed the line for me, and I immediately spoke to the Eyaad over the phone telling him that i will make my experience public on the internet.
And just a few minutes later, VOILLA......a guest room miraculously became available and ready to be moved into.Eyaad showed absolutely no empathy nor any consideration for me as a guest, not to mention his customer service skills are lacking to such an extent that it is unfathomable that he's designated to sit at the front reception area, a place where guests expect hospitality. Staff is heartless
