Excellent facilities with great service, including free transportation to airport or ferry. Wi-fi with OK signals in each room. Several pools and one with a slide. Much fun for kids.
Breakfast at the very nice seaside restaurant did however not have any fried or scrambled eggs, only hard boiled eggs were available. This is one of the few things to complain about. It was however possible to order continental breakfast to the room where scrambled or fried eggs were available from the menu.
Easy to get trisycle rides to the city centre where we often visited the mall.
The hotel did not have any doctors at site, but there is also a hospital in the city in case of illness or injuries. We had to use that unfortunately due to illness and the hotel ensured free transportation for us to the hospital.
Rooms were clean and nice. No hairdryer at the rooms, but otherwise well equipped with TV, aircon, big bathrooms with separate shower area, refridgerator and a big balcony with nice sea view.
Some constructioon work was going on while we were there, but we were not significantly disturbed by that.
Overall we are very happy with our stay at Bohol Tropics resort and will not hesitate to book there again.
The area is OK, but no sandy beaches and no immediate closeness to other restaurants or shopping areas, so tricycle rides are needed. This is simple and cheap though, so no problems. You never have to wait long until the next available tricycle comes along.
