Dogs barking constantly around the clock, day and night. Sounded like a dog fight. One of the other guests said the owners son keeps a lot of dogs, and a guest got bit the year before by one of these dogs. Since the windows are “sealed” with duct tape, the sound really travels into the room all day and all night. The room was very clean, but a little rustic. Lots of chipped tile, and only 2 overhead bulbs were working so was kinda dark. At checkin, the desk clerk insisted we pay over a thousand dollars in order to get a key. We showed them our Expedia fully paid receipt. The clerk pretended not so speak English. We finally argued long enough to get the key. Room was very large. Beds were very comfortable. Alex at the restaurant was fantastic. Lose the dogs and figure out a better checkin (never had this experience through Expedia before!) and this would have been one of our favorite places to stay ever.
