Not worth the money
Okinawa is very hot, humid and dirty. Pool resort was not much better. We were there a week and there was no housekeeping, no cleaning, feral cats on the balcony doing their business. There were gaps in the door and window frames so spiders, and especially lizards were getting in all the time. Every evening I had to catch them and put them outside.
The staff spoke very little English so it was hopeless trying to ask them for ideas on where to go and what to see. They did not enforce the pool rules either. Swimming in the pool was supposed to end at 9 pm so that guests could quieten down for the evening. A couple of evenings the pool was full of kids, and some adults, until almost midnight. As the walls and windows are not sound proofed we heard everything.
Finally, if you are a westerner, be aware that this is Japanese style where you sit on the floor in the living room. Nor was there a kitchen, no utensils, we had to go out and buy some paper plates, plastic cups and knives. We paid over 1 200 pounds, about 1600 US dollars for 7 nights and it was definitely not worth the money.
