The bathroom door didn’t have a latch, hence couldn’t be closed at all. The jacuzzi was very dirty and seems not serviced for a very long time.
The breakfast was terrible with expired jam and butter in bad condition. The bread was stale as well and wasn’t good. There were not many options for good during the breakfast, which lacked sense.
There was an old lady at the place who wasn’t very friendly. She was a bit rude when we said that we will take some food to eat at the room. She wouldn’t allow us to take any food to the room and the reason she said was the owner wouldn’t like guests taking food to the room and the ants would come for the food. With the bad quality of food which they gave us, I’m sure none of the ants would want to take a chance with that quality of food to say the least!!
There were two guys in the hotel who were very warm and friendly. Special mention about Orhan who gave us lot of information about Cappadocia and explained us in details. He also helped to arrange for the airport transfer which was very nice of him.
The hotel is in good location at Goreme, which is good.
The stay and food could have been a lot better for the cost which they charged us. Food was definitely on the downside and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there for that reason.
