First of all, this is not a hotel, it's a restaurant. We were unfortunate enough to book the deluxe double room (18m2), which is just on the other side of the upstairs area of the restaurant, only sparated by a paperthin wall. Upon check in, the waiter (there is no reseptionist) asked if it was OK to bring guests in the restaruant in the evening (which we felt was an uncomfortable question and hard to decline), and we agreed, given that it would be guests no later then 9.30 PM. At this time we did not know how thin the walls were. To our great dissapointment, the restaurants had guests until 12 PM in the evening, even though they knew we had an early departure the next day.
The room itself is lovely decorated, and the shower is great, but the facts that it was impossible to sleep before 12 PM (we could actually hear what conversations the guests had), this was not all what we expected. The fact that this room is next to a loud restaurant, with no soundproofing what so ever, is vital information that one would expect would be given in advance. There is no information about this on hotels.com.
