my whole experience with the Wexford Hotel was horrible!
Checking was a nightmare and totally unacceptable.
Room assigned was un-organized, you've to wait on the bellman to take us to our room. This was done for all arriving guest and it was only one (1) Bellman. It was Sumfest Weekend , so it was crazy busy!
the layout of the hotel is crazy, there's no site map. Hence, this is why the bellman have to take you to your room and then hand you the key.
The room had no AC, very hot room, we couldn't sleep in the room. There was a balcony and we slept outside on the chair sitting up was the room was so hot, we couldn't stay inside the hotel was full booked. Maintenance came to check and told us it's nothing they can do, until someone check out in the morning which is next day.
The entire hotel is dated. The pond in the lobby area is green, which needed to maintained. the property was run down, it looks like noting the pictures online, this is misleading. They should remove those pics. they don't value Expedia booking, it's rated very low. the front clerk said we told them (meaning Expedia) to stop booking and they still sending us booking. we don't have any room for their guest. this is Appalling!
With the above experience I am requesting a refund.
