All in all, it was a perfect choice quality and pricewise. The hotel consisted of two buildings, both of which looked well-kept, surrounded by well-maintained green areas with elegant and comfortable furniture for outdoor leisure and a separate lovely relax garden on a large lawn with sunbeds and a jacuzzi. The whole property was consistently stylish down to every detail. The room was located in the annexe and had a charming attic-like shape with a window in the ceiling (with birds chirping in the mornings if left open). It was spacious and clean, with decent modern furnishings, a good bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was impeccably shiny and elegant, with all the modern amenities but no bathtub. The towels were pleasantly thick. There was no complimentary tea/coffee in the room (but a welcome biscuit). The free wi-fi functioned well.
The staff was friendly and helpful, spoke English well and appeared responsive and professional at all times. The only drawback was that they refused to supply additional towels for use in the relax garden. The breakfast buffet was very good for the Italian standard. Although the selection was quite limited, everything was delicious and of quality produce. The service at breakfast was attentive and polite. They served good coffee by order, and there was enough food for late risers.
The location was quiet and convenient: by foot it took 20 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the archaeological site and 20 minutes to the railway station.
