Bad service, extra charges for everything
Booked this hotel primarily for two reasons: they offered around the clock check in, and the location. Boy, were we disappointed.
We arrived at the hotel at 10/10:30am. We were charged not only a cash deposit - which I don't understand why we were as they had our credit card and passports - but they also charged us 1000THB for "EARLY CHECK IN". How can one check in early if the hotel offers around the clock check in? And checking in at 10/10:30 is hardly early. Had we known this we would have chosen a different hotel.
The room itself was fine. Nice big bed, bathtub, generally a good standard. The reception area is old, and seems a bit dodgy at best.
On the evening before we were leaving we asked the reception to order us a taxi for 4:30am the next morning. They wrote it down. The next morning we're down in the reception waiting for our cab at 4:30am, and nothing. We waited until almost 5 am, ask them if our taxi was ordered as we had asked for the day before. They promised that the taxi was on it's way. We kept waiting until 5:15am, and still no cab. At that point we had one of the staff go out in the street to get us a taxi with a meter. We made it to our bus just in time. Generally very unhappy with our stay here.
