We were 3 persons who shared an 18 sqm room, and that worked fine. The extra bed wasn't the best, but worked. The bathtub was quite high so it was a bit hard to get inside it to shower. There was no anti-slip mat to put in the bathtub, so be careful you don't fall when showering. There was also quite an amount of mould in the baththub-area, which easily could have been taken care of with a bit of vinegar. It was quite damp in the room, especially after showering as there was not much airing in the bathroom. Otherwise the bathroom was spacious and quite to our liking. A fridge in the room was a nice treat as we could keep our drinks cool. The room was out to the street which meant a lot of noise. We had to have the windows open to get some fresh air into the room at night as the A/C was very noisy. The staff was mainly very friendly and helpful, except for a couple of people who seemed annoyed when we asked them something. A grocery store next door is a hughe plus, and the restaurant "Knese" across the street serves excellent German food. As the hotel is on Ku'damm there are several different shops nearby, and subway #1 is close to the hotel, as are buses, and the s-bahn is only a couple of blocks away. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, and they have no dinner serving, so don't know how the food is. I have stayed here before and will probably stay here again.
