Unfortunately dreadful
I don’t usually write reviews, nor do I wish to write a negative one, but I feel like I have to warn other people.
Me and the gf we’re on vacation and decided to pay a little extra for a nicer place. When we got there, we discovered a run-down little place at the middle of an awful dirt road. I would have no problems with either of that, if the rest wasn’t so bad.
The room itself was wall-to-wall with the reception, and it was not sound proofed at all. I had been looking forward to spending some quality time with the gf, but even if they had soundproofed the walls so that everyone else didn’t hear you, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
The water pressure is non-existent. The shower was a dribble and the toilet wouldn’t flush. We were given a bucket and told to use that to flush.
There were also plenty of ants on the floor inside, and when we told the owners we didn’t wanna stay and that we’d pay for the first night even if we didn’t sleep there, they refused to refund us for the other nights. They wouldn’t even let us take a soft drink from the minibar.
We transferred to another nearby resort, Ogdong cave, and had the time of our lives.
Stay away from this resort! There are plenty of cheaper or equally priced alternatives on Bantayan that are much better!
