The check-in went smooth and the staff were very polite and friendly.
The hotel was built in 1894, so the hallways and rooms is a bit small, but they made a decent effort in refurbishing the rooms a couple of years ago. The room was clean and tidy and we got a view to the Empire State Building. The standard was OK, but you get what you pay for. The elevators was slow, so expect some waiting time, especially in the mornings and evenings.
Heritage Hotel is located quite close to the Flatiron Building, Madison Square park, and also a Metro station (R-W) that brings you uptown or downtown in a short time
