"This hotel has a very good location just a few metres from Nathan Road and a 7/11 just across the street where the MTR station also is. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was an ok size (twin deluxe). The beds were a little bit short, but good pillows. Fridge and kettle in the room. Lots of channels on the TV. Had a nice view from the 16th floor. The water pressure in the shower was very weak, but had lots of warm water. Bathroom was small, but ok. Except for the fact that there was a shelf over the sink sticking out so half the sink was covered. Could not wash my face in the sink or brush my teeth, had to do that in the shower. I hope they will remove that shelf (this was in room 1616). I will stay at the CityView again during my next visit. It was a good experience (minus the shelf)."
"The good things first:
1. upon leaving, they had personell there who secured our luggage safely. Magnificent!
2. When I asked about drinks origin (I have awful food allergies), they showed me.
Then the bad things:
1. I had asked for a room away from the elevator shaft and other heavy noises. I got a room Wall-to-Wall with the elevator shaft and underneath the motor running the entire hotel’s air-condition system. That was so freaking load that I never heard the elevator shaft.
2. All rooms had wall-to-wall carpeting. This was not cleaned. We found coins on the floor and former guests toenails got stuck underneath our socks.
3. Both our rooms smelled of mould! Like they were infested.
4. The shower-area has a low ceiling. It is impossible for a grown man to fit the shower-head between the ceiling and his had. No room.
5. Lightning in the shower is loose and not particularly fire-proof.
6. THE BREAKFAST! It is on the 15th floor. Elevator stops at 14th floor. The stairs in-between are raggedy, has carpeted cover and has narrow steps.
7. THE CAT! In the dining area they keep an alive shaggy orange cat that rolls on the floor entertaining itself by licking it’s own ass. Knowing cats, noone knows where the cat has been before and in the dining room. My entire family was directly disgusted by this.
We assume the cat is at the 15th floor to keep the mice and rats away from the dining area. And that alone should be a fair warning to stay away from this hotel.

"The Lounge access was amazing offering a nice get away in an nice environment. Only thing to comment about was that the lights in the lounge was to close to the windows ruining a bit of the amazing Hongkong skyline. Though the service was top nodge. Can absolutely recommend the hotel both for business and holiday."
